Cancellation Policy 

Payments for trainings and merchandise are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Register with confidence even if you are on call or pregnant. Dancing For Birth credit* is given and administrative fees are waived for birth professionals who are absent due to being with their client at their birth during the training date, and for absences due to giving birth oneself. 

If you will not be able to attend a training you have registered and paid for, and it is at least 45 days before the training, you have several options:

1. You may transfer your registration to another open Dancing For Birth™ training of your choice (space permitting). Your paid fees will be credited towards the price of that training, less a $75 USD transfer fee.  You will owe the $75 USD plus any registration fee difference for the other training. 

2. You may elect to have Dancing For Birth™ save your paid registration fee as a credit* towards registration at a future training, less a $75 USD cancellation fee.  You will owe the $75 USD and any fee difference when you register for the future training.

If you unexpectedly miss a training you have registered and fully paid for, or need to cancel within 45 days of the training, you have several options:

1. You may transfer your registration to another open Dancing For Birth™ training of your choice (space permitting). Your paid fees will be credited towards the price of that training, less a $150 USD late transfer fee.  You will owe the $150 USD plus any fee difference for the other training.

2. You may elect to have Dancing For Birth™ save your paid registration fees as a credit* towards registration at a future training, less a $150 USD late cancellation fee. You will be owe the $150 USD plus any fee difference when you register for the future training.

If you attend a training you have registered and fully paid for, but miss a small portion of it, you have several options:

1. You may make up the portion missed by watching a recording of one of our virtual trainings, and answering review questions.

2. You may register for and attend another training at our discounted “repeat participant” rate of $150 off for Level 1 or Level 2 or $300 off of the combined Level 1-2.

    

   CEU’s and Certificate of Attendance will be deferred until you either watch the recording and answer the review questions or repeat the training. 

If you register for a training and do not complete payment prior to the training, you will not be granted admittance and you will forfeit all fees paid.  

If Dancing For Birth™ cancels a training, all current registrants will have a Dancing For Birth™ credit* on file of their paid registration fees, to apply towards a future Dancing For Birth™ training. If Dancing For Birth™ postpones a training, all current registrants will be given the choice to remain enrolled for the new date, or receive credit* towards a future training. Under no circumstances will Dancing For Birth™ be responsible for other fees you incur, such as hotel or travel. 

*Credit: Dancing For Birth™ bears no responsibility to hold future trainings in any particular location or time-frame. If you have a credit for a future training it is your responsibility to register for and attend one of our open trainings before your credit expires. Credit expires 12 months after the original training date. Credit can only be used by the original registrant. Contact us to notify us of your chosen training and we will provide a code so that you may apply your credit to your registration.

This cancellation policy does not pertain to Dancing For Birth™ Retreats. Retreats have separate cancellation policies.
